Here are some pictures from Friday’s conference put on by Darden’s Wine & Cuisine club. The theme was sustainability in the food and drinks industry and featured representatives from big players (E. & J. Gallo, AB InBev, Diageo) to local Charlottesville favorites (Devil’s Backbone,  Relay Foods, Three Notch’d).  I learned of a few ventures for the first time (Hill and Holler – a very cool concept!) and got educated on the latest and greatest in sustainable production for the things we consume.

Hi, there! Returning visitors will probably have noticed the snazzy new site design. I finally tired of fooling around with css, headers, padding and other website mumbo jumbo and transitioned to a more intuitive system.

With the time I’ve saved, I’ll be able to share cool photos I’ve taken in this blog section. To kick it off, one of my favorite subjects: a sunset!
